My Acer desktop (approx 1 yr old) X1420G-U5832 skips letters when typing. It has gotten so bad that I am ready to throw this computer away and start over. I have replaced the acer keyboard with a logitech and it does the same thing. Is there any remedy to this. Please help!

Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port?

Might be a corrupted driver. Might be a good move to download and reinstall.

Edit: Driver would be found by searching drivers on whatever OS you have installed's site.

I assume since you have a Desk Top, that the keyboard is separate.  Try another keyboard or purchase a new better than average quality keyboard.
