Windows 8 the apps will not stay open. The internet keeps dropping.

Everytime the mouse goes to the rightof the screen the windows thing appears - gettin on my nerves?

The internet is constantly dropping"

The apps open and close straight away!

I think that what you are finding is the Charms Bar.  This is a simple menu of 5 icons (charms according to MS) for some shortcuts.  The Charms bar can be accessed on a touchscreen by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, with the keyboard by (Windows+C) and by mouse from the top and bottom right hand screen corners. A clock and date tile also appears in the lower left of the screen.

It should not be appearing when the mouse goes to the right edge of the screen, only in the right corners.

 

We will need a bit more information about "the internet keeps dropping" and the "Windows apps will not stay open."  My annoyance with most apps is that they are a royal pain to close.
