Keyboard troubles, Aspire 4810TZG

Hi,

I have a 4810TGZ. Lately I have been having big troubles with its keyboard. It is a normal Norwegian keyboard without a num-pad on the side. The troubles eventually made me try a clean install of Win7, regretfully without that being a sucess either... The trouble is: I am not able to use the keyboard numbers six, eight and nine without headache... When pressing six, while browsing with IE/FF etc, the browser adress bar raplaces the current adress with the number six. When pressing eight, a dialoge box opens, and asks if I want to activate browsing with "text chooser". The number is displayed correctly in the browser, but I must manually close the dialoge box. The number nine, I am not able to get at all in the browser window. The browser "jumps", and I can hear a pling, but nothing happens...

If I have a long string of numbers, I have to manually enter them in Notepad, and then paste it to the browser, troublesome....

As mentioned, I did a clean install of Win7, with formatting and everything upfront. I followed that up with installation of all drivers etc that are made available for my 4810TZG by Asus here on their homepage. And off course I also have tried checking if there are other drivers availabel for the keyboard that adresses this issue, but not been able to find any solutin, hence this post...

Have also tried adding Swedish keyboard, as well as English. But both choices gives me the same headache...

I can not really remember when this problem first occured, but assume that it might be after one Windows Update or similar, but lately it has really started to annoy me.. >P

Hope that someone have an solution for me.. Smiley Tongue
