Hello fellow Acerites, I have a problem and wonder if anyone here can help me. I happen to play WoW (World of Warcraft) on my desktop tower computer which I bought about 3 years ago (Aspire M3910). In the last month whenever I log into my game it crashes within 2-3 minutes. Whatever it is doesn't seem to affect any other programs on the computer. I have worked closely with support staff at WoW to no avail. Their last note to me was to check with Acer, and of course my warrenty is up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just shooting in the dark here...

    -Re-install WOW.
    -Update all drivers. (Video specifically)
    -Update your OS.
-I would run error checking on your hard-drive.

Possibly a failing video-card or hard-drive, you can go into Control panel > Administrative tools > Event viewer > Windows logs, and check under applications (Possibly under the system category as well). Might be some errors listed there that you can google and glean a bit more info as to whats going on.

It's a long shot but have you tried monitoring temperatures using speedfan?
