Does the T272HL bmidz support 3D?

The features page seems to say that it does. Yet other sites don't mention it; nor do any reviews that I've seen.

The features tab of the T272HL bmidz says:

Amazing 3D

Experience amazing depth and clarity: Acer's 3D lineup features some of the world's first widescreen monitors to support NVIDIA® 3D LightBoost™ technology, producing an image that's two times brighter; and groundbreaking Vision® 2 glasses, which sync wirelessly with Acer 3D monitors to deliver a truly believable and immersive 3D experience.

I found quite a few web sites that clearly say that the T272HL supports 3D. Just one of them was Walmart. Another was Tiger Direct. There are quite a few others. (Please keep in mind that the web pages I linked to may have changed after I posted these links.)

I called Acer (after being directed to the "Acer Store" at 800-910-2237), and was told that the T272HL does NOT support 3D.

Ah! And note the "Specifications vary depending on model" note, associated with the superscript "1" (which does not even display properly in my browser, because it's shoved halfway up into the text on the line above).

So, yeah, even though you went to the web page for this specific model, and even though all the other tabs on that web page are specific to this model, you're not supposed to think there is an attempt to deceive going on here. Sure.

By the way, in my internet travels, I found another person who thought the T272HL supported 3D, because of this web page.

I don't appreciate the deception, Acer!
