Possible to upgrade the motherboard/GPU/CPU on 5750?

I have the Aspire 5750-6636 and I was just curious if it was possible to take the MB out of a 5750G or Z and put it into mine? Or at the VERY least, upgrade the i3-2310M CPU to either a better i3 or maybe even an i5. Thanks for any help.

    Good day

You can change the mainboard and put in AS5750G. If you want to change the CPU in your AS5750, here is the list of the CPU's that i know definately wil work because your machine uses Mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset:
Intel Core i7-2620M processor (4 MB L3 cache, 2.70 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.40 GHz)
Intel Core i5-2410M/i5-2520M/i5-2540M processor (3 MB L3 cache, 2.30/2.50/2.60 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.90/3.20/3.30 GHz)
Intel Core i3-2310M processor (3 MB L3 cache, 2.10 GHz)

NB: If you put in the AS5750G mainboard you must also use the AS5750G charger...being a 90W because the AS5750 uses 65W

Thank you! You are awesome. I hate being pesky, but you wouldn't happen to also know if the stock CPU is soldred on or clipped on? And also, would I be able to reach the CPU from underneath, or will I have to take off the keyboard and everything else? Again, thanks for your help.

    Good day

No problem, you are more that welcome to ask me any questions and I will help where I can.

The CPU is not soldred on, its clipped onto the mainboard. To reach the CPU, you need to strip the entire machine i.e. remove ram, and hdd door, remove hdd and ram, remove battery, remove keyboard and remove disconnect all the cables connected from mainboard to uppercase, unscrew all the screws underneath and remove the whole entire lower case, remove unscrew and loosen fan.
