This happens when laptop is connected to AC power or just battery -- so not a battery issue. I can get the screen back by moving the lid, but sometimes it's not easy -- maybe getting worse -- upsetting! Will this require disassembly? I understand there could be a BIOS update, but I hesitate to try that with this symptom. If the problem is a mechanical issue, software won't help.
