I removed a USB Wireless N adaptor last year and when I went to reinstall it I get the above error. Any ideas?

Sounds like you are trying to install a RealTek wifi adapter to the comptuer. Did you download the drivers and install them on the computer?

Actually I had used a D-Link last year & tried to install a NetGear recently. This computer came with a Realtek Lan Generic driver that I tried to reinstall from Acer Recovery, Launch Centre, but even after installing the Netgear software, hardware, & drivers it will not "Enable". I'm thinking I may have inadvertantly uninstalled more than just the D-Link adapter last year & maybe my only option is to reinstall the entire system.
