Upgrade Win8 Pro through Microsoft site (special offer Belgium)

Checked on Acer site - same instructions as I followed at MS for manual upgrade

I had opted for keeping settings, documents and apps > not much of it remains...

After the installation tiles look fine but the rest of the windows look like something from the computer stone age.

Highest resolution is still way below what I had with Vista. It seems to be running on Microsoft display function...

Tried Nvidia site and was bounced back to Acer. Searched the Acer site > no joy...

Looked around on internet - also for Win7 drivers > still no joy...

Everything works fine but the windows fall off the screen at times and it all looks horrible, pictures are stretched, colors are funny... One of the reasons I still keep this notebook was that the display was really first class... not any more now.

Anybody out there with an idea how I can solve this problem?

Thanks & Grts
