Monitor has gone out

Greetings,

Iconia w700 running reinstall of Windows 8 64 bit.

I've had this Iconia w700 for about 5 months,  I have been using it for .net development as well as home use.  I'd say I've definitely put the machine through alot and I absolutely love it.  All this time I've had it set up on dual display at work as well as home.  I've had it in it's leather case the entire time.  At this point I regret that as I believe this to be a heat issue gone south.

To my questions:

Where exactly is the video card located on the machine?  I would assume on the main board.

The chip connected to the monitor would be the controller for the screen itself correct?  I believe this is where the damage is located as the ribbon holding it to the monitor has alot of browning on it, suggesting it overheated and burned out.

Where can I purchase a replacement screen? as if it is not obvious through my questioning, this machine has been opened up and thus warranty is voided I'm sure.  Which is ***** because I've had to replace the HDD after a week and then the fan because it also went out.  But it is what it is.
