    Hi tarahman,
    You are running on Battery Power only so NitroSense reverts to basic mode to conserve battery backup. Plug in the Power Adapter that came with the laptop (not a USB-C charger) and let the battery charge to 100%, reboot and you will find that NitroSense will work again. Tip: keept he power adapter pluggged in 24/7 and the battery fully charged all time.

    @Puraw
    Thanks for the quick reply,
    I am not able to switch back to 100% charging mode. I tried to reset BIOS settings to the defaults.

    Hi tarahman,

    Just to clarify—when I say “charge to 100%,” I mean fully, not capped at 80%. If your system has a battery limiter enabled (like Acer Care Center’s Battery Charge Limit), make sure that’s turned off first.

    If the battery still won’t charge to 100%, try the following steps:

    1. Update the BIOS to the latest version from Acer’s support site.
    2. Uninstall both battery drivers under Device Manager > Batteries (usually “Microsoft AC Adapter” and “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery”), then reboot.
    3. Disable Fast Startup via Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable.
    4. Plug in the original power adapter and leave it charging while powered off or idle. Check if it reaches 100%.

    If it still won’t charge fully, it could be a firmware (EC) issue or a degraded battery, paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, press Ctrl + P or right click and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert.
