Issue installing Windows 11 on my Aspire A515-58PT

Hello!
As the title states I am having trouble installing Windows 11 on my Acer Aspire 5.

I am attempting to dual boot Linux & Windows 11 but I am encountering a significant amount of issues with installing windows.
Every time I boot into the installer it always asks for drivers, I have manually loaded all of the drivers on the Acer Website using "for /r %d in (*.inf) do drvload %d" I have also tried adding them to boot.wim and install.wim using NTLite. The infuriating thing is that when using the ISO I made in NTLite and opening the command prompt [Shift + F10] and running diskpart all of my partitions are there. To add to all of that when I normally boot without drivers I don't have a mouse cursor, but when using the ISO I made in NTLite, I do have a mouse cursor, so something is working, however I am the very very edge of my knowledge.

And by the way I do not have any bios options for Intel VMD or Sata/ Storage Mode

So what should I do?

Make sure that the bios settings of your AN515-58 laptop is set to its "Load Setup Defaults" then construct a proper workable bootable USB with Rufus 4.9 and follow its exact guide and put the Win-11 24H2 .ISO file with Rufus onto the bootable USB first, then put the Nitro 5 AN515-58 Acer provided IRST version: 19.5.0.1037 folder into that same USB, then start the Win-11 installation process by putting this USB into the AN515-58 laptops USB port and reboot the laptop,

When you get to the Win-11 24H2 section below at > Load driver install the IRST VMD Controller 09AB so that the installation recognizes the AN515-58 M.2 SSD boot drive and you can continue and finish the installation of Win-11 24H2 and all its updated to the last OS build: 26100.4946. Try this method as this should install Win-11 perfectly without needing drivers to be installed. Try this method and let us know. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Note: that Win-11 24H2 has an installation bug that it does not connect to the internet to download drivers when its required for the Win-11 24H2 installation and you need to do the below.

For Acer laptops, press the shift + Fn + F10“ to get command prompt up when are stuck and you need to install drivers during the Win-11 installation > then press next “ windows key + E “ to bring the windows explorer folder from the USB where the drive are.

Hello, while I appreciate the help, this did not work, my issue isn't that I can't see my Partitions at the "Where do you want to install Windows" screen, my problem is that I am unable to get to that section entirely, at boot I instantly get the below screen.

This is common with a dual boot windows/Linux setup that the Linux settings corrupts the bios and things like these happen, I suggest that the best course is to first uninstall Linux OS and then do a fresh clean install of the Win-11 24H2 installation like above and then install Linux as a dual boot.

Try to install the IRST version: 19.5.0.1037 drive at the above part of "Install driver to show hardware" it should work, if not try the below steps and see if it fixes this driver Install driver issue.

The “Install driver to show hardware” error during Windows 11 installation typically happens because the installation media cannot detect the storage drives—often due to missing or incompatible drivers or issues with the bootable USB itself.
If you continue to encounter issues, it may be helpful to recreate the installation USB using a different computer or with a different software tool, and double-check your BIOS settings to ensure maximum compatibility for installing Windows 11.

Here are some professional steps you can follow to resolve this issue:

Check your USB creation method: Writing a Windows ISO directly to a USB using tools or commands (like “dd” on Mac) sometimes results in bootable drives that aren’t fully compatible with Windows installation, especially on newer hardware. It’s generally safer to create the bootable USB using the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool or third-party tools such as Rufus on a Windows PC.
Try a different USB drive or port: Sometimes the USB stick or the specific USB port can be the culprit. Using another USB stick, preferably a new or good-quality one, and switching to a different port (USB 2.0 if you were on 3.0, or vice versa) often resolves the issue.
BIOS/UEFI settings: Verify that your BIOS or UEFI is set to UEFI mode (not Legacy), with settings such as AHCI instead of RAID, and that Secure Boot is enabled if required. On some laptops with Intel VMD or RAID configurations, you may need to disable VMD or set the controller to AHCI—which will make the drives visible to the Windows installer.
