Nitro AN16-41 restarts in sleep mode

A few weeks ago, my laptop began restarting unexpectedly during sleep mode. Literally every time I walk away from it. This is my primary work machine, so extremely inconvenient to say the least. I wish I could peg it to an update or some other event, but when it began, I chalked it up as a glitch (this machine has had several before—like spontaneously restarting while I was actively working), and didn't pay attention to the timing. I don't know if it happens upon entering sleep mode, upon waking…when I return to it, I see the startup screen.

Event Viewer logs show Kernel-Power 41 and 125 events at the time of the crash. I ran HWInfo logging during multiple events — CPU/GPU temps were normal (CPU ~48 °C, GPU ~40 °C at the time), so it is not overheating.

If I disable Sleep while plugged in (set “Never sleep” in Power Options), the problem disappears completely. HWInfo logging showed network bursts just before the crash.

I have already tried updating/reinstalling the Wi-Fi (RZ616) driver but even after install, it shows the older version, not the most recent one shown on the Acer Drivers site. I have also disabled Fast Startup and adjusted various things in the power plan.

So far, disabling Sleep is the only solution that's worked, but this is obviously a workaround and only feasible on AC power.

Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?
