Hello everyone,
I'm facing a critical performance issue with my Acer Nitro 5 laptop (model AN515-57).My specifications are:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11800H
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
- RAM: 16 GB
The problem is that in the game Enlisted (and other demanding titles), I'm getting a consistently low 25-27 FPS, regardless of the in-game graphics settings.
When I check Task Manager, it confirms that my dedicated NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU is at 0% utilization. The game appears to be trying to run on the integrated Intel graphics instead. The NVIDIA GPU temperature is normal (around 53°C) because it is completely idle.
I have already tried every standard troubleshooting step, but nothing has worked:
- Forced the game's executable (
enlisted.exe
) to use the "High-performance NVIDIA processor" in the NVIDIA Control Panel. - Set the graphics preference for the game to "High Performance" in Windows Graphics Settings.
- The laptop is always plugged into AC power.
- The Windows Power Plan is set to "Ultimate Performance".
- In the NitroSense software, the mode is set to "High-Performance" and CoolBoost is on.
- I performed a clean installation of the latest NVIDIA drivers via GeForce Experience.
- I've checked the in-game settings, including toggling DLSS on and off.
Despite all of these actions, the system stubbornly refuses to use the dedicated RTX 3070. Has anyone encountered an issue this persistent? Could this be a sign of a hardware fault, a specific BIOS issue, or another conflict I'm missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
