I have an Acer Aspire 3 laptop with Windows 11 Home. All the software is up to date.

I have recently bought a JBL Quantum 100 M2 Headset with a 3.5mm jack. It works with my Lenovo M10 Tab. The Tab can pick up both the JBL audio and detachable mic. My laptop only reognises the audio. It doesn't pick up the JBL detachable mic and therefore uses the built in laptop mic.

Do I need an audio/mic headphone jack adapter?
