I bought an Acer Aspire 3 15 less than a month ago and the touchscreen doesn't work now. it worked a yesterday. I looked in the Device Manager and it's not listed in the Human Interface Devices.

How do I get this to function again?

Thanks

use these basic fixes below and follow this guide HERE, as it should reengage, if it doesn't, then send your Aspire 3 back to Acer tech Support in your country. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Basic Fixes:

    • Update Windows 11 and restart it: An outdated Windows 11 build can lead to touchscreen issues on your laptop. Head to Windows Settings > Windows Update menu. Install pending updates, and you will be good to go.
    • Download updates from Acer: to install required updates, tweak hardware settings, check system properties, and more. Download updates for them from the manufacturer.
    • Remove a thick screen protector and clean your screen: If you use a screen protector to prevent the display from scratches, the protector’s thickness may prevent the touch inputs from being registered accurately. Remove it and clean your screen.
