[Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43] Data transfer for USB/C ports are inconsistent

I'm not sure what the problem is, but the USB port doesn't work at all for any type of data transfer, regardless which port I plug it into. For USB-C it works sometimes, but even the slightest bump with the receptacle that's connected to the PC will cause the connection to end.

Besides that, there was an accident where my laptop fell with a USB receiver and it shattered, but the port was fine. In fact, the port works fine for non-data transfer cases like charging or using a wired keyboard.

The cables aren't the problem, I've tried and successfully used them on other devices to transfer data and such.
