…and a VR of nine.

I invested for a particular game, and it worked for the first few months. but I started experiencing launching issues, so I tried a whole system reset, because the information reading was

;
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H 3.10 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.69 GB usable)
;

I thought it'd go back to its' origin state when I got it, but the data stayed or something?

I've done all the hacks via BIOS and Enviromental Values.

Also the youtube guide along tutorials'.

I'm hoping if I send it in to be serviced, does anybody know whether or not that would resolve and restore the laptop RAM?

Or will it not make a difference? I play only one game on here.

I'm not sure I'll have the space for a PC.

So if it doesn't make a difference, what model should I be looking at instead?

thank you,

chey

[[p.s: if it's relevant, the game is called inZOI and its' on Steam]]

    What is the "12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H 3.10 GHz - Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.69 GB usable)" laptop model that you have? Is the laptop the Nitro 5 AN515-58 or the Predator Helios 300 PH315-55 or an Aspire laptop model, tell us the exact model of your Acer product and what is the ONLY ONE GAME NAME that you are playing, as you probably haven't setup this gaming laptop properly or the actual game properly and that is why you are having problems.

    Do the following:

    • Update Win-11 24H2 with all its updates to OS build: 26100.4770
    • Update the bios version of your laptop, to the last version
    • Install the NVidia App and play all supported games through the settings with the Nvidia app.

    As doing all the above will make your laptop perform at it ultimate for gaming and you will not need a new laptop. As the best Acer laptop for gaming is the Predator Helios Neo AI or the top of the range Triton laptops. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Yes, a service center can likely help diagnose and potentially restore the correct RAM amount on your Acer Nitro 5 after a reset. It's possible the reset process didn't fully complete, or there's a hardware issue with the RAM or its slot. A service center can investigate further and offer solutions like BIOS updates, RAM replacement, or slot repair if needed.

    Possible Causes: Incomplete Reset:-
    The factory reset process might have been interrupted or encountered errors, leaving the system in an inconsistent state, potentially affecting RAM recognition.
    Hardware Issue:
    There could be a problem with the RAM modules themselves (e.g., they are faulty, not compatible with the system, or not properly seated), or with the RAM slot on the motherboard.
    BIOS Settings:
    The BIOS might be configured in a way that is not optimal for recognizing the full RAM capacity, or it might need an update.
    What a Service Center can do:
    1. Diagnosis:
    They will thoroughly examine your laptop's hardware and software to identify the root cause of the RAM issue.
    2. BIOS Update:
    They can update the BIOS to the latest version, which may include improvements related to RAM compatibility and recognition.
    3. RAM Testing:
    They can test the RAM modules to confirm if they are working correctly and identify any faulty modules.
    4. RAM Slot Inspection:
    They can inspect the RAM slots on the motherboard for any signs of damage or issues that might be affecting RAM recognition.
