Hi, i have the acer nitro an515-57 and i cant see my camera driver.

As stated in the title, i cannot see my camera at all. it only shows PC camera but it shows this, ive only went home from school to seeing this on my computer, no camera at all i do have norton subscription on me but im not sure if it does directly interfere with the camera. (It used to show HD USER CAMERA SOMETHING SOMETHING) now its gone. ( awhile ago i tried spamming disable and it did show it for a quick second before going back to pc camera.) (( i tried to full reset my laptop just a minute ago.)

i use w11, i do hope you guys help me fix this so i dont have to buy an extra camera or get this fixed.

Thanks for the details. It sounds like Windows is loading a generic “PC Camera” driver instead of the proper one for your Nitro AN515-57’s integrated webcam. This can happen after updates or resets.

1. Press Win + X and open Device Manager.
2. Expand Cameras or Imaging Devices.
3. Right-click on PC Camera and select Uninstall device.
4. Reboot your laptop. Windows should detect the correct hardware and reinstall the proper driver.
