Pairing Wireless Mouse and Keyboard with Acer TC 1785 desktop PC

I have just purchased an Acer TC 1785 desktop PC and upon attempting to set it up, I inserted the batteries into the keyboard and mouse supplied with the computer but, despite trying unsuccessfully for over an hour, I cannot get the PC to recognise either device. I tried manually searching through the ‘add Bluetooth device’ but it will not discover either. The limited paperwork which came with the computer mentions an optional dongle but I don’t have one.

Please advise me what I’m doing wrong.

Thank you.

The "dongle" may be inside the keyboard battery case or possibly in the mouse ?

    Usually hidden.

I suggest that if you can't find the BT keyboard/mouse dongle, for the Aspire TC-1785, then contact the retailer that you bought the desktop from and demand that they get you the dongle for the BT or replace the keyboard and mouse with the part below, as that is the Aspire TC-1785 part number. Good luck and hope this helps you out further to get this sorted out.

Aspire TC-1785 desktop BT keyboard/mouse highlighted is the Acer part #:
