Upgrading my Aspire TC-780 GPU: What are my options?

My system currently has the default GPU it came with when i bought it- the Intel HD Graphics 630. I wanted to upgrade it so that I could play x64 games, and was recommended the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030. Is this a viable upgrade for my PC? If it isn't, what are my options that won't be too expensive or too powerful for it to handle? I'd really like to avoid replacing my device, if possible, as I've had this PC for almost a decade at this point.

After doing some more research in my own time, the Geforce GT 1030 should- as far as I'm aware, be a valid upgrade for me! For anyone who needs to know if a GPU will work for your PC, try and stick to hardware made in your computer's generation (or even a bit older then your generation.) Make sure you have a PCIe slot that will accept your device (I have an x1 and x16, the x16 being the exact length I need,) as well as enough space for the device to fit inside your case with the other components!

Apologies if this isn't the appropriate place/forum to post this, I just figured members of the Acer site would have more knowledge with upgrading Acer PCs specifically.
