Where can I buy replacement USB-C ports for acer chromebook R753T-C8H2?

Hello,

I worked for a school district where we do in house repairs on our chromebooks. One of the common breaks that we encounter is with the usb-c ports on the motherboard breaking (likely by user error). I have the skills to replace the usb-c ports, but I have no idea where I can buy replacement parts (the usb-c port). Attached are some pictures of the part I am looking for. This one happens to be for the chromebook model R753T-C8H2. Any help in finding where I could buy this chip would be awesome. Right now, I've been substituting using the usb-c from spare daughterboards, but this supply is dwindling.

Try eBay as it took me 5 seconds to find the USB-C port for Acer Chromebooks like like below on eBay😁as they have a wide range. Good luck.

First off thank you for the suggestion. The usb-c port you found on eBay is not the one for the r753t. If you look at the pin layout on the one you linked, it does not match the pin layout of the usb-c port in my picture.

That caption above is from their site is probably not the exact USB-C for the Chromebook R753T its just an example image, as you need to communicate with them, as their eBay listing for the USB-C port is for the ChromeBook R753T like you want, so it must be for your laptop. I'm only giving you the caption that they have shown. But search on eBay as they have other USB-C ports for the ChromeBook R753T that you want, as that is where I get allot of the parts, or if you can't find the exact part, look at Ali Express. I'd likely go with one of the component suppliers, like Jameco, Digikey, Newark, etc., rather than doing eBay, most of them should be able to match the form factor for you.
