Quite often when scrolling on any online site and some communication apps upper half of the screen freezes for a few seconds while the lower half functions correctly. This problem has been apparent back from when I bought the laptop, it hasn't been more than a year since then, before going to repair services I wanted to ask if anyone had experienced the same reoccurring problem as I have and if anyone knows how to fix it.

Make sure that you have the last AMD Adrenalin 25.6.1 cpu graphics driver installed and the NVidia gpu latest driver installed and up to date, and whenever you install these drivers, install them as a Clean Installation. as screen freezing depend on these drivers being up to date and installed properly.

If that doesn't fix the partial screen freezing it could be the data section of the eDP cable of your laptop and lastly and its very rare that it could be the actual screen that is faulty. So the only thing that you can do is uninstall all the AMD and NVidia drivers with the DDU uninstaller in Safe Mode and then reinstall all these drivers and see if it fixes this fault, otherwise send/take your laptop to Acer Tech Support in your country and get the Acer techs to fix this issue. Good luck.

The ANV15-41 eDP cable plugs or actual cable could be faulty
