Hi, powerful gaming laptops like the PHN16-71 use 330W power adapters that can generate Coil Whining, normal behavior. To mitigate that noise you can try to reverse the AC plug polarity by using a 2-pin plug adapter if the electrical wall outlet will allow that (turning the plug 180 degrees). A properly grounded 3-pin plug and wall outlet can also help, avoid using extension cords and power panels.

Your Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 emits a buzzing or chirping sound when plugged in, which is usually caused by harmless coil whine or minor contact issues at the DC jack. This is normal if the sound is faint and there are no signs of heat, smoke, or flickering. To reduce it safely, you can try sticking to the original Acer charger, avoiding USB-C charging during heavy use, and checking for any heat near the charging port.
