Hey,

Last summer i bought an acer aspire v3-571G with intel i7 turbo boost3.3GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GT640M 2GB
Then windows 8 came out and i wanted it. So i bought it and installed it.
Now i have a problem with my wireless internet connection. My wireless connection isnt faster than 1.9Mbps.
I found the solution for many people. But it didn't work to me Smiley Sad
I don't know what to do anymore. A didn't make a back up from my old windows 7 that was standard with the computer.
Please help me out.

This is the solution i found.

1.  Go to your manufacturer's website and download the driver for your wireless adapter.  Make sure that the installation file is saved to your hard drive because you will not have an internet connection later.
2.  Go to "Device Manager" (search for it under "Settings").  Under Network adapters, find your wireless adapter, and right-click it.  Then, click Uninstall.  Your wireless adapter will probably disappear from the list.
3.   Back in Device Manager, right-click "Network Adapters" and select "Scan for Hardware Changes."  Your wireless adapter should reappear from this list.
4.  Run the driver installation from the file you saved it under in Step 1.  Some tinkering will be required because not all driver installations were designed for Windows 8.  With the combination of running the installation in Compatibility mode (right-click the file, select "Troubleshoot capatibility") and "Running it as administrator" (again accessed via right-click), the installation was successful.
