    👋 Hi @Mawiwauii ,

You’ve bumped into one of the more subtle but important power management conflicts — and it's not just your system. There’s a wider issue affecting Windows 11 24H2, Acer BIOS presets, and both NitroSense and PredatorSense utilities.

    🔄 Why it feels inconsistent:

    • NitroSense or PredatorSense might display “Performance” or “Quiet,” but these settings don't always update Windows' own power plan — especially after updates or sleep states.
    • Windows 11 24H2 quietly defaults to “Balanced” unless registry tweaks or OEM extensions are active. In many cases, this overrides what Acer's utility appears to set.

    💡 Recommended setup:

    • Use “Balanced” as your core power plan — this is officially optimized by Microsoft for 24H2’s scheduler and hybrid-threaded CPUs.
    • In Power & Battery settings, select “Best power efficiency” — this allows Windows to auto-adjust based on workload and device telemetry.
    • Avoid mixing NitroSense/PredatorSense plans with manual Windows overrides — they can cancel each other out.

💬 Unless you want to go deep into registry edits (CsEnabled, PowerPlanOverride, or GUID tracing via powercfg), the cleanest setup is to let Windows manage it dynamically and keep the utilities for monitoring, not control.

Let us know what FPS results you're seeing and which plan is active in both Control Panel and NitroSense — might help confirm if you’ve got a desync between layers.

Here are the differences between the Acer optimized and the balance power plans:

The Acer optimized power plan only adjusts these settings and does not have much difference in terms of performance. The reason that your laptop has bad performance is due to overheating. I can see that both CPU and GPU maximum temperatures are higher than they should be. Make sure that you get the laptop cleaned out and replace the thermal paste.

Thank you and have a nice day!
