I have recently installed Intel 210AX into my laptop and it looks like my Bluetooth driver is missing from Driver manager. How do I get Bluetooth?

If your Acer A715-71G's Bluetooth driver is missing from Device Manager, it could be due to a few reasons. You can try troubleshooting by checking the Bluetooth services in Windows, scanning for hardware changes in Device Manager, updating Windows and drivers, or even performing a system restore if needed

    Hi BIZ_4,
Intel AX210 – Bluetooth Not Showing? Here's Why Yes, the Intel AX210 (aka 210AX) absolutely supports Bluetooth — usually BT 5.2 or 5.3. However, if it’s not showing in Device Manager, it’s likely a hardware or signal routing issue, not just drivers.

    🔍 What could be happening:

    • The Bluetooth signal on AX210 uses USB lines from the M.2 slot.
    • Some laptops don’t route those USB lines, meaning Bluetooth won’t work, even if the card supports it.
    • If your original card was non-Intel (like Realtek), your laptop might lack USB routing to that slot.
    • Drivers alone won’t fix this if the physical routing isn’t there.

    🛠️ Steps to try:

    1. Install the latest Intel Bluetooth driver manually: 👉 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19349/intel-wireless-bluetooth-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html
    2. Reboot and check Device Manager again.
    3. If Bluetooth still doesn’t appear, your M.2 slot is likely Wi-Fi-only.

💡 If that’s the case, your best option is a USB Bluetooth dongle. They’re cheap, reliable, and don’t depend on motherboard USB routing.
