Acer Swift 3 not turning on, tried battery reset, no display or keyboard light

My laptop recently started blanking out on me. The screen will go black and I have to force shut down to get it working again.

I used my laptop last night with no issues. I shut down correctly and everything was fine.

Now I am trying to power on and it is not working. When I plug it in the battery charging light comes one but the keyboard not screen would not light up to show signs of life. I have tried a different charger to make sure but still nothing.

I tried the pin hole for the battery reset and still nothing is working.

I have a presentation tonight and other assignments due this week.
i need urgent help. Freaking out as I type.

What is your Swift 3 laptops exact model number, as and if its more than 3-4 years old, you need to change the battery as that is one of the main causes of your laptop turning off and not booting. It can also be a frozen EC or a Chipset chips (if not damaged or faulty) can be fixed with doing a proper Hard Reset, if that doesn't fix your booting problems then its an internal main power rail or graphics issues. Follow the Hard Reset like in the guide below, as in most cases it fixes the boot issue of your Swift 3 laptop. If not then you have issues that only a technician can fix as no reset will do anything.

Hard Reset - Remove eleven (11) screws from the base cover to the upper case of your Swift 3 laptop, use a pick to pry the upper edge of lowercase, then remove the lowercase.

Press the power key for 15 seconds to release all power to the laptop and then disconnect the main battery cable from the mainboard, then take the main battery out. Then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and then short the bios batteries + & - pins at the mainboard plug (as shown below) to reset CMOS.

Leave the laptop like that for at least 30min so that EC and Chipset chips reset completely and then reconnect everything, as the laptop should turn on and boot properly with an image on the screen.
