Hi everyone,

I'm a web developer looking to purchase a SpatialLabs 3D monitor and I'm trying to understand the key differences between the ASV27-2P and PSV27-2 models. After reviewing the official advertisement documents, I have some questions about their development capabilities.

What I've Found So Far

ASV27-2P specifications mention:

  • SpatialLabs Experience Center Pro with Acer OpenXR Runtime
  • Compatible with SpatialLabs Unreal Plug-in, SpatialLabs Unity Plug-in, and Acer SteamVR Bridge

PSV27-2 specifications only list:

  • Standard SpatialLabs applications (TrueGame, Model Viewer, Go, Player)
  • No mention of OpenXR Runtime or SteamVR Bridge

My Questions

  1. Does the PSV27-2 support OpenXR and SteamVR Bridge functionality, or are these features exclusive to the Pro version? This is important for my development workflow.
  2. What are the specific functional differences between the Pro and Standard versions of SpatialLabs Experience Center? What additional development tools or capabilities does the Pro version offer?
  3. If the PSV27-2 doesn't include the advanced development tools out of the box, is it possible to purchase or unlock them later?
  4. Apart from the stand and software bundle, are there any hardware differences between these models that I might have missed?

I'm primarily interested in WebXR development but would also like to keep the option open for native development using Unity or Unreal Engine. Understanding whether the cheaper PSV27-2 can handle these requirements would greatly influence my purchasing decision.

Has anyone here worked with both models or can share their experience with SpatialLabs development tools? Any insights about the practical differences between these monitors would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Many regards,
Jens
