    Hi suryafeb082000,

    🎯 Issue Summary

After reinstalling Windows 11 (likely version 24H2) on the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58, users are encountering:

    • ❌ HDMI port not working
    • ❌ Nvidia RTX 3050 dGPU not detected
    • ✅ Only Intel iGPU drivers showing in Device Manager

These symptoms match several reports, including one from suryafeb082000 on Acer’s English Community forum.

    🧠 Quick Hardware Insight

This model follows a dual-GPU design:

    • 🧵 The Intel iGPU is typically wired to the USB-C port (if Alt Mode video output is supported)
    • 🔌 The Nvidia dGPU (RTX 3050) is wired directly to the HDMI output

So when the system boots without properly loading the Nvidia drivers, the HDMI port becomes inactive—because it’s tied to a missing or offline GPU.

🔧 Recommended Fix Using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)

    Step-by-Step Recovery:

    1. Download Essentials
      • DDU - Wagnardsoft
      • Latest Nvidia Game Ready Driver
    2. Boot into Safe Mode
      • Hold Shift → Restart → Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Startup Settings → Restart → F4
    3. Run DDU in Safe Mode
      • Select “NVIDIA” in the dropdown
      • Click “Clean and restart (Recommended)”
      • Frank will provide a screenshot for this soon
    4. Post-Reboot Setup
      • Reboot normally
      • Go online and let Windows Update install the Nvidia driver automatically
      • This method ensures WHQL-certified driver integration

    🧪 Verify Success

    • 🔍 Check Device Manager → Display Adapters → “Show hidden devices”
    • 🧮 Run dxdiag and msinfo32 → “Components > Display” to confirm dGPU is online
    • 🔁 If HDMI is still inactive, confirm BIOS hybrid GPU settings or test rollback to 23H2
