Hi, I'm facing some issues, I already updated my game ready driver to latest update but in Nvidia app, it's keep showing reinstall and when I play games GPU driver crash, I already fix with ddu uninstaller but still same issue, my laptop model is Predator phn16-71 and serial is NHQJRST001XXXXXXXXXXXX.

Can you guide how to solve that issue?

Reinstall the NVidia driver version 576.88 and do a clean install of the NVidia driver (see below) so that all the previous drivers are deleted and the last version is installed. So try that and see if it works. For a comprehensive D3D12 error fix HERE.

I'm using the PHN16-71 and play games with this driver and I always install the NVidia drivers this way, also change the bios and Predator Sense to use only the NVidia GPU and not the Intel, as that is the best settings for this laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out to solve this problem.

Always install the NVidia drivers like below with the Custom installation

Thanks for sharing the details, LinHtet. Since you already used DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers, but you're still getting crash issues and reinstall prompts in the NVIDIA app, it's possible that:

    • The reinstalled driver from NVIDIA’s site wasn’t the best match for your PHN16-71
    • Some residual config files in Windows or registry are clashing with the new setup
    • Your system might prefer the OEM-tuned driver offered directly by Acer

Here are a few steps you might want to try:

    1. Check your NVIDIA driver variant — make sure it’s a Game Ready driver, not a Studio version (they behave differently).
    2. Reboot after DDU but before installing the new driver — this ensures a cleaner state.
    3. Try reinstalling the driver using NVIDIA’s “Clean Install” option, preferably while disconnected from the internet (to block automatic driver grabs).
    4. If the issue persists, consider using Acer’s official driver — it’s tuned for your laptop’s thermal and hybrid GPU setup.
    5. You can also check Device Manager to confirm your GPU is detected properly and there's no mismatch.

Let us know how it goes — happy to help troubleshoot BIOS settings or dynamic GPU switching if needed.

Update GPU drivers, reinstall DirectX, check for overheating, and set games to lower graphics settings.
