What Acer model monitor do you have (as that would help) as its also advisable to have a surge protected power board in case of these things happening, but first check the power adapter if its outputting any current as that is the first thing that can short out, as that is the only way that you can make sure that your monitor is getting power?

If it doesn't turn on, then its a main power rail issue that the lightning has affected and you will need to take your monitor to a tech in your area as it could either have a mosfet or a capacitor that has burned the power rail out and that is why your monitor is not turning on. Do all the above and let us know how you made out, good luck.

The lightning may have damaged your monitor or power supply. Try a different outlet and cable. If it still doesn’t work, it likely needs repair or replacement.
