Is it possible to use a standard PSU with Acer P03-3000 650? Stock PSU is 500W, 6 pin to the motherboard.

Would this cable allow a regular PSU to power the motherboard? Can anyone confirm this is 100% safe?

For your information I've included the PO3-650 Mainboard Layout below and all the Acer oem PSUs that Acer uses for this desktop, if you want a higher wattage PSU for a GPU upgrade, use the oem LiteOn 750W PSU, that I've highlighted below.

That adapter cable that you have provided a link to from Amazon "6Pin Mainboard 24Pin to 6P Conversion Line" should work but I can't guarantee that it will 100%, as Acer does provide an oem 750W PSU specifically designed for these desktops, if you want to upgrade the GPU to a highest spec GPU that Acer fits oem to this desktop, which is the "NVIDIA RTX 3070 GDDRVI 8GB ATX PCI-EX16 DP DP DP HDMI 288-3N617-X10A8 V3 - Acer part #: DA.30711.005, so be aware of this also. Good luck and hope this helps you out to solve this problem.
