Good Day, everyone! I have an issue with my laptop Acer Nitro ANV15-51, when I play games and the charger is plugged in, the screen is randomly blacking out, but the laptop is still working, only the screen is black. Do you know how to fix this? I already tried all the videos on YouTube, and all the drivers are updated. I also went to the store where I bought my laptop, but they couldn't fix it. It is only happening when the laptop is charging. If you have a solution to this problem, pls email me or reply to this in the comments. Thank you so much, and God bless Y'all.

Hi Naayy17, thanks for flagging the issue. The screen blackout only when plugged in during gaming suggests the system’s switching power states too aggressively—most likely due to outdated Embedded Controller (EC) firmware or a misbehaving GPU driver.

    🔧 Recommended Fixes:

    1. Update BIOS to v1.26 (released April 17, 2025) — this includes an EC firmware update that stabilizes power transitions while gaming and plugged in.
    2. Uninstall your Nvidia driver using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)
      • Run it in Safe Mode, choose Clean and Restart
      • Reinstall the latest Nvidia driver from the official site (skip Windows Update version)
    3. Upgrade to Windows 11 24H2, if you haven’t already. This model supports it, and Acer’s driver stack is tuned for the latest build. If you’re still on 23H2 or older, some power management features may cause issues.

Let us know if the issue persists after these steps—we can dive deeper into power plan sync or hybrid graphics toggles if needed.
