Hi everyone, I recently purchased an Aspire 5 and the touchpad doesn't seem to be working. I've tried everything. I did notice that the touchpad device is not listed in the device manager. Any advice on how to fix this?

    Hi,

If your touchpad isn’t showing at all in Device Manager, try this:

    • Go to Device Manager > Human Interface Devices
    • Right-click I2C HID Device, choose Uninstall device
    • Reboot the system (don’t install anything manually)

Windows should reinstall the correct driver automatically, and your touchpad may reappear afterward. No need to use Acer's OEM installer unless it fails to return.
