The Nitro ANV15-51 has two different generation M.2 SSD slots like shown below, the boot drive is a PCIe 4 x4 lane and its 2nd M.2 drive and slave is a PCIe 3 x4 lane drive slot. The Crucial P3 Plus is a mid range Gen 4 x4 lane type drive that you should use in your ANV15-51 laptop as the boot drive only, Also see the Tom's Hardware SSD Benchmarks Hierarchy 2025 tests as the Crucial P3 Plus is there and its speed tests are the following:

    Crucial P3 Plus PCIe 4 x4 M.2 Tested by Tom's Hardware specs:

    • Seq MB/s: 4,702
    • Copy MB/s 1,169

Note: If you want a high end M.2 SSD drive for speedy editing and gaming, then use the Samsung 990 Pro NVMe drive as its quicker and better supported with the Samsung Magician software that also has a Data Migration section specifically made for cloning onto this M.2 Gen 4 X4 lane new drive. I use this drive in my PHN16-71 model laptop and its very speedy, if you buy this drive, do not buy the 990 Pro with a Heatsink as it will not fit into your Nitro ANV15-51 model laptop.

Samsung 990 Pro as tested by Tom's Hardware:

    • Seq MB?s: 5,844
    • Copy MB/s: 1589
