Acer Nitro V16 freezes randomly and fails to boot, stuck in power cycle loop

Hey, just checking if anyone can help with this issue.

Basically I got this laptop less than a year ago, and I'm having issues with it freezing while running. Literally in the middle of the most mundane tasks, not even gaming. To start it again, I have to hold down the power key but then it goes into a weird mode. The keyboard switches on and off while the fans kick in at the same time as the keyboard flashes but nothing happens. It's like trying to start a car that splutters. It does that for ages until the keyboard stays lit but the screen remains black. The only way is to keep the power button pressed down until everything switches off and trying again. This cycle happens more and more often and sometimes it can take up to 30 minutes before it starts again. And when it does, the fans are on full power and don't switch off.
Customer support got me to do a bunch of things like running a system scan and reversing updates, but nothing seems to help. They are suggesting doing a factory reset. The product is still under warranty and honestly I've lost all faith with it so I'm not sure what to do.
Has anyone ever had this issue?
