SO i had a monitor shipped in for repair, and when i received it back, the cord clip on the base had snapped in transit. I was wondering if there was an easy way to contact customer service to see what could be done in rectifying the situation.

Contact Acer Tech Support in your country and where you sent your monitor to service, as they are the only people that can replace that plastic cord clip part of the monitor. Note: Acer have many thousands of support places and its impossible to give you suitable location if we don't know where you are located or where you have sent your monitor for service to. Also, what is your monitors model number which will also help?
