I need igpu went study and work and the dgpu is for gaming, if i use both it will make my battery run out of battery very fast, and the other reason is to boost fps and latency, and in eco mode still make dgpu work so i don't really use that.

BTW my laptop is Acer nitro v15 6600h 3050 6gb!

Here’s a battery-friendly workaround without sacrificing HDMI or system stability:

🔧 Best Practices to Prioritize the iGPU (AMD Radeon 660M)

    1. Use Windows Graphics Settings
      • Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics
      • For each app (especially browsers, office tools, etc.), set “Power saving” mode — this forces the app to use the iGPU.
    2. Disable RTX 3050 via Device Manager (with caution)
      • This works only if you don’t need HDMI output.
      • Disabling the RTX 3050 will force the system to rely on the iGPU, but again, HDMI will stop working.
    3. Use Battery Saver + Eco Mode
      • In NitroSense, enable Eco Mode.
      • Combine this with Windows Battery Saver to reduce dGPU activation.
    4. External Display Workaround
      • If HDMI is essential, consider a USB-C to DisplayLink adapter. These adapters use the iGPU for output and bypass the RTX entirely — a neat trick for battery-conscious users.

Tip: How to Check GPU Routing

You can confirm this on any system by opening NVIDIA Control Panel > Set PhysX Configuration. It’ll show which ports are connected to which GPU. On the Nitro V15, you’ll likely see:

    • HDMI → RTX 3050
    • USB-C → Radeon 660M
