Hello,

I bought a 3.5 SATA hard drive for my computer, but it doesn't seem to be working when I turn on my computer. I'm unable to see it as one of my drives, even in the BIOS; it's not there.

The below list of parts are the recommended Acer 3.5" SATA III drives and cables that you should use for your PO3-630 desktop, so use these drives and cables for best performance and connection to your PO3-630 desktop. Also make sure that your bios is updated to the latest version, for the PO3-630 which is version R01-A4.

Otherwise check Disk Management and see if the new 3.5" drive is showing there, and if it is, then you haven't initialized the new drive and given it a drive letter like "D" or similar, and its not recognized in Windows Explorer, so do all that through Disk Management if you have done so, if you have done all that, then it might be that the new drive is faulty or the drive cables are faulty or the mobo SATA plugs or power plug is faulty, so check all that as all these things can cause a drive to not be recognized. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.
