I have bought this Acer Swift Neo laptop last week with Win 11, and I'm using realme T300 buds with it, but for some reasons my headset mic isn't showing up in the audio input section. Does anybody knows how to fix this? Thanks.

I even tried to set Analog → Headphone in Device Advanced Settings (as suggested by another blog) but in my case the options are disabled. I haven't tried to re-install the audio drivers as I might fuckup it.

Make sure that you have paired your realmeT300 buds correctly, as that could be why your Swift Neo mic is not working, otherwise your buds might be faulty, as once the T300 is paired then both the speakers and the mic of the T300 should work.

The Acer Swift Neo (Windows 11) not detecting the Realme TC300 Bluetooth headset's microphone can stem from various issues, including driver problems, incorrect privacy settings, or Bluetooth service malfunctions. To resolve this, try updating Bluetooth drivers, ensuring the microphone is enabled in privacy settings, and verifying Bluetooth services are running. If these steps fail, consider reinstalling or updating Windows, or contacting Acer support for specialized assistance.

    Troubleshooting Steps:-
    1. Check Bluetooth Device Status and Driver:
Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).
    Expand the "Bluetooth" section.
Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select "Properties".
Go to the "Driver" tab and check the driver details.
If it's not the latest, try updating the driver. Select "Update Driver", then "Search automatically for drivers" or "Browse my computer for drivers" if you have the driver file.
If issues persist, consider rolling back to a previous driver version or uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
    2. Verify Microphone Privacy Settings:
Open Settings (Windows key + I).
    Go to "Privacy" > "Microphone".
Ensure that "Allow apps to access your microphone" is toggled on.
Also, verify that specific apps you intend to use with the microphone have permission.

    3. Confirm Bluetooth Services are Running:
Press Windows key + R, type "services.msc", and press Enter.
    Locate the following services:
    Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service
    Bluetooth Support Service
    BluetoothUserService
Right-click each service and ensure they are started and set to "Automatic" startup type.

    4. Pair and Connect the Headset Again:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.
If the headset is listed, select it and choose "Remove device".
Turn off the headset and turn it back on, making it discoverable.
Select "Add device" and choose "Bluetooth".
Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the headset again.
    5. Check for Windows Updates:
    Open Settings > Windows Update.
Click "Check for updates" and install any available updates.
    6. Consider Reinstalling or Updating Windows:
If the problem is persistent, consider reinstalling Windows or performing an in-place upgrade to ensure a clean environment.
