Predator Helios 18-Keyboard issues. The disabled trackpad key stopped working.

I've had this laptop for a few months now and I've started to have problems with the keyboard.

The disable trackpad key stopped working recently which is frustrating as I use this often. None of the other function keys seem to be having any issues. Also, the Predator Sense software has stopped being able to change my keyboard lighting. Sometimes it will work if I try different things for long enough, but every time I restart it goes back to being the default blue color.

I've tried reinstalling, tried giving the Acer Lighting Service high priority, and also tried delaying the lighting service startup.

I'm wondering if the trackpad key no longer working is related to the Predator Sense stuff and if anyone knows how I can fix these issues? Thanks in advance!

If you are having troubles with a new PHN18-72 laptop that is the latest 18" Neo laptop, then I suggest that you send your new laptop back to Acer Tech Support in your country, as a touchpad should not stop working and/or be giving an troubles in a new laptop or should the keyboard RGB colours not be able to change its colours through the Predator Sense App, which has been an Acer app that is known as problematic, so be aware of all this.

I suggest that you do all the warranty claims on your laptop asap, as parts on these laptops are very expensive as a new upper case & RGB keyboard assembly (as Acer don’t sell just the RGB keyboard) as the upper case and RGB keyboard is a sealed unit, and it sells retail for around USD $157.00 + shipping. Good luck and hope this helps you out to fix this problem.
