The Logitech Mk270 is a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse combination that works with Windows® 10 or later and these components communicate with the laptop from the Logitech supplied Bluetooth USB dongle.

There is no way that this device does not work with your Acer Aspire 5 laptop if the Logitech USB dongle works properly. Check your laptops USB port and change the dongle to another port and see if both the keyboard and mouse work. Otherwise you must have a faulty USB port. Good luck.

unfortunately your answer die not help. I checked all 3 ports, the keyboard did not work, This is the fourth keyboard I m checking. I had the same problem recently in Germany. I bought a keyboard and it did not work. I went back to the store, it was not Amazon.de. I told them this is your keyboard it doesn't work on my ACER laptop. If you have another keyboard and you can demonstrate it is working, I will buy it. It did not work right away, they had to download a driver and it was working. I bought the keyboard and it is working at home too. To my surprise the keyboard here in CA is working on my sons DELL computer, not only the mouse also the keyboard. This tells me something is not right on my laptop, it could be the age, about 6 year or a software which is not compatible with ACER. On my Device Manager the keyboard has the following drivers.

The PS/2 Keyboard must be from Germany. Here I have a Logi MK270 keyboard. Thanks for your comments.

That is good to know how you solved this problem, but you should always install all drivers available for these keyboards and mouse for them to work, as windows does not have all of these drivers, so be aware of that for the future.

The Logitech Mk270 keyboard/mouse BT combo has a driver for available for this keyboard/mouse and I thought that you downloaded that driver and installed it. But its great that you solved this problem and you also advised the community of how you fixed this problem for any community member for the future. Thanks and good luck.
