I am trying to update my bios from f11d to the current version which is f5c, however the site tells me to download it then extract all, then open the file folder double click the *.exe file. the problem is there is no EXE file to double click only the *.F5c bios file. I even tried to double click on that file even though i knew it would not work it just asks me what program to use to open it. I also tried looking to see if they have the flash firmware insyde to download in the software and drivers but it does not. so my question is, is the only way to update it by getting a usb memory stick that is formatted fat32 and boot from it ? because that is a huge pain as it is hard to find a 32Gb usb stick nowadays

Acer community does not have any information and/or a service guide for the new Nitro N60-640 desktop model that usually these desktops have instructions on the bios update process. Acer has not released any guides on a bios format update with an FSc file extension for this new Nitro desktop model, which is unusual as all the past Nitro N50-6xx desktop models have an Appendix folder with a precise bios PDF flash guide, so all I can give you is the method of how to open an FSc file. I suggest that you contact Acer Tech Support in your country for precise FSc file bios update. Good luck and hope this s helps you out.

Note: Go to FILExt for everything about and to open an FSc file. The bios FSc file for the Acer N60-640 bios - dated; 2025/05/29 - version F5c is a text document and not a bios file update. This is the document converted to PDF
