Touchscreen stopped working with my hand after the windows 11 update. But I seem to be able to use the touchscreen with a pen. What is wrong? It seemed to work normally on windows 10. It updated at night.

I've already do reset all setting from reset setting and do reinstall driver from Device Manager but still doesn't work. I've tried calibrating screen but again only responds for pen but not finger. What should I do?

Hi you can try this: Check Device Manager – Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager) and look under Human Interface Devices for the I2C HID Device. If it has an error (like Code 10), try updating or reinstalling the driver.
Reinstall Touchscreen Drivers – Go to Acer’s support site and download the latest chipset, serial IO, and HID event filter drivers for your model. Install them manually.
Calibrate Touchscreen – Open Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Tablet PC Settings, then reset touch settings.
Rollback Windows Update – If the issue started after 24H2, consider rolling back to 23H2 until Acer releases a BIOS update.
System Restore – If the touchscreen worked before the update, try restoring your system to an earlier date (see picture)

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touch and ensure touch input is enabled. Open Device Manager, expand Human Interface Devices, right-click on HID-compliant touch screen, and select Enable if it’s disabled. Check for Windows updates by going to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates that might fix compatibility issues. Additionally, reinstall the latest drivers for your touchscreen by selecting Update driver or downloading the latest version from Acer’s website

To give you better help, we need to know what model of laptop you have. There have been a lot of Spin models over the years and they do tend to be quite different with each design. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SPxxx-xxx-xxxx.

I use Acer SPIN SP313-51N and I've checked device manager - Human Interface Devices and has no error and the touch screen driver was enabled and running properly. I've tried to reset setting to default but not solved the problem. I have checked in windows update, No update available. Already up to date. If I need ACER driver for touch screen where would it be?

Reinstall Touchscreen Drivers – Go to Acer’s support site and download the latest chipset, serial IO, and HID event filter drivers for your model. Install them manually.

I've done these a minute ago and not solving the problem, my touch screen is still not working with finger but working properly with stylus pen.

If there is no error in Device Manager, and it shows both the HID Pen and the HID Touchscreen then the chances are very good it's not a hardware issue. We can likely assume it's not drivers, since you did a reinstall there. That points to a potential Windows setting or corruption. Try using the SFC and DISM commands to see if it can be repaired. You might also try creating a new account on the computer and logging in with that user to see if it's an issue in the profile.
