Acer SF314-71 Insyde Software - Firmware - 5.44.1.2 - should I install this optional windows update?

In Windows 11 System Update, there is an optional update for Firmware Insyde Firmware 5.44.1.2 which I presume is quite recent.

I checked my msinfo and it shows Insyde firmware version 1.08!?

I also found there's a recent vulnerability in April 2025 for Insyde BIOS which was only recently published in June.

Should I update using Windows?

p.s. The web version of my Intel® Driver & Support Assistant says there's an update Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6881 dasted 9 June 2025 but the Intel Graphics Software on my laptop says my Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101. dated 9/2/2022 is up to date.

Avoid it, as it can cause issues. Instead, hide it using Microsoft’s Show or Hide Updates tool as explained in below guide’s Step 1 (Stage 4).
