Could be coil wine, which is an integral noise that can't be stopped or its the W key mechanism that is lose and retelling. Take the W key apart and clean the parts and put them all back and see if the static sound goes away.

A static sound coming from the "W" key on your Acer Nitro V16 might indicate a few possibilities, including a faulty switch, a loose connection, or even an issue with the keyboard itself.

    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Clean the key:
Dust or debris could be interfering with the key switch, causing the noise. Use compressed air or a soft brush to clean the area around the "W" key.
    2. Check for loose connections:
Ensure the laptop's keyboard is properly connected. You can try gently re-seating the keyboard (if it's a detachable model) or holding the laptop firmly to see if the noise changes with slight pressure.
    3. Test the key:
Attempt to use the "W" key in different applications to rule out software issues. If the noise persists in all contexts, it's likely a hardware problem.
    4. Consider a keyboard replacement:
If other troubleshooting steps don't resolve the issue, the keyboard might need to be replaced. This could involve contacting Acer support or purchasing a replacement keyboard.
    5. Contact Acer support:
If the problem persists, contact Acer support for assistance. They may be able to diagnose the problem and offer a repair or replacement solution.
