Hi, get any type external USB keyboard to log into Windows and in Device manager uninstall the PS/2 keyboard driver in Keyboards and just reboot, Windows will reinstall the KB driver. If that did not work bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to check the KB cable connections.

If your laptop keyboard isn't working and you can't log in, try using an external keyboard, the on-screen keyboard, or reinstalling the keyboard drivers. If none of those work, you may need to perform a hard reset or contact your manufacturer for assistance.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential solutions:
    1. Use an External Keyboard:
If possible, connect a USB or wireless keyboard to your laptop and try logging in.
This will help determine if the problem is with the built-in keyboard or with your laptop's system.
    2. Use the On-Screen Keyboard:
If an external keyboard isn't available, Windows has a built-in on-screen keyboard that you can use to type your password.
You can typically access the on-screen keyboard by going to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard, and then turning on the On-Screen Keyboard.
    3. Reinstall Keyboard Drivers:
Outdated or corrupted keyboard drivers can sometimes cause issues.
You can try reinstalling the drivers by going to Device Manager, locating the keyboard, and uninstalling the device.
After uninstalling, restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers.

    4. Other Troubleshooting Steps:
Restart your laptop: A simple restart can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
Check for malware: If the keyboard issue is persistent, you might want to run a virus scan.
Check keyboard settings: Ensure that Sticky Keys or Filter Keys aren't enabled, as these can interfere with keyboard input.
Update your operating system: Ensuring your operating system is up-to-date can also help resolve issues.

Run the Keyboard Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in keyboard troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix problems.
Boot into Safe Mode: If the keyboard is not working after logging into Windows, boot into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists.
Perform a hard reset: If all other troubleshooting steps fail, you may need to perform a hard reset of your laptop (this will erase all data, so back up important files first).
Contact the manufacturer: If you've tried everything and the keyboard still doesn't work, contact your laptop manufacturer for further assistance.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and fix the keyboard issue and regain access to your laptop.
