Disconnect the wet charger immediately from your laptop, as it could be a dangerous fire hazard to you and leaving a wet charger plugged into a laptop will cause major damage to the laptops DC_IN port and also to the laptops main power rail, which will cause major repair bills and will damage the laptop.

You need to discard the wet adapter charger and get a brand new adapter for your laptop, whatever your laptops model is? If you want an Acer oem charger part number, get back to the Acer community and tell us the exact model number of your laptop, so that we can give you the information of the suitable Acer adapters. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

If a charger gets wet from rainwater and isn't working, it's likely damaged due to water ingress and potential short circuits. The best approach is to unplug the charger immediately to prevent further damage. Drying it thoroughly and cleaning the charging port can help, but if it still doesn't function, it's likely beyond repair and needs replacement.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of what to do:-

    1. Unplug and Remove:
Immediately unplug the charger from both the wall and the device it's connected to.
    2. Dry Thoroughly:
If it's a cable, separate the cable from the adapter to speed up the drying process.
Use a soft cloth to wipe off visible moisture.
Consider drying the charger in a place with good airflow, like near a fan or in direct sunlight.
    3. Clean the Charging Port:
Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove any debris or remaining moisture from the charging port on the device.
    4. Check for Other Issues:
If the device still doesn't charge after drying, test the charger with another device to see if it's the charger or the device that's malfunctioning.
If the device has a water-drop icon or moisture detection warning, this indicates the device itself is detecting moisture and won't charge until it's completely dry.
    5. Consider Replacement:
If the charger doesn't work after thorough drying and cleaning, it's likely damaged and should be replaced.
Avoid using a third-party charger as it might not be compatible with your device and could damage it.
      Important Notes:
Don't plug in a wet charger:
Doing so can cause electrical shocks and further damage to the charger and device.
