tried to overclock my laptop (Nitro 5 AN515-57), & without any knowledge I changed the CPU Voltage / core voltages value which was initially 0.7v, I changed it to 1.0v, & after I saved and now when I power on I see no display but keyboard lights only on. I tried to reset cmos by removing battery and cmos but nothing works. I need help what could really be the issue.

Hi, if you modded the BIOS you can try to reset BIOS by shortening the CMOS module, make sure you disaconnect the main battery first. Best to bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset it to factory default, it may require reprogramming or even replacing the EEPROM.

How did you overclock your 11th Gen cpu, what software did you use? As and if you have increased the voltage to the cpu too much then the cpu is fried. Also is the laptop booting into windows and are the fans spinning, as if all that is not happening and only the keyboard is lighting up, you have fried the cpu which can't be repaired and you need a new mainboard.

Yes I used modded bios, but i tried to reset bios by removing cmos and battery but nothing worked. Keyboard lights are on fans working but no display when I power on. Should I flash original bios using usb flash drive?

And I want to ask if there is any hardware issue?

Try to reset the BIOS setting by turning off the laptop, disconnect the charger, and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Or flashing the original BIOS using the USB drive containing the .fd file.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

You need to check the EC and Chipset chips if they are not shorted, as and if you can get into and see the bios settings, then the bios chip is ok and might just need a flash. But you could have problems with the EC or Chipset chips that is why there is no graphics at all on your laptop post boot. as if the cpu graphics is damaged, then the cpu will also be damaged and the laptop will be dead and will not power on at all.

If you can reflash the bios, but that will not bring back the image. Best thing to do is to take your laptop to an experienced technician, as just flashing the bios will do nothing if the EC or Chipset chips are shorted.

Below is the AN515-57 EC chip that is a programmed chip and if this is shorted this will also contribute to not having an image, so you need to replace and reprogram this chip, as this can only be done by an experienced technician who has the proper tools or buy a programmed EC chip for the AN515-57.
